She refuses to sleep in the bassinet and that’s where they want me to put her if I want to sleep...all she does is cry when I set her down in it and as soon as I’m holding her she’s FINE. How am I going to get any sleep 😭😭😭
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed. She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄 I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴 I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣 She ate an eggo.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

Well it’s only the first day, give it time. She needs to adjust to the outside world and it’ll likely be better once you get home. You can swaddle her so she feels like she’s being held. Both my kids slept swaddled in a rock n play and slept great.

I have bed-shared with both of my kids and I will be doing the same with this baby. There are some sites that can give you advice on how to safely bed-share. Of course no large blankets, excessive pillows. If you plan to drink don’t bed share. Don’t feel wrong for doing what you feel is right for your baby.

I still bed share with my toddler about half way through the night. I was trying to break it too cause I wasn’t sure how the baby would be but looks like she’s a chest sleeper 🙃

@bubbys.mommy, yeah do what works for u .. I’m not a deep sleeper wen i know I have a baby with me on my bed .. a lot of moms forget their child is on the bed with them and suffocate them on accident and wanna say it was sids .. my aunt did that smh 🤦🏻♀️

I'm that mom who slept with baby on my chest the first 2 weeks and she has a sleep monitor that notifies me if her breathing changes.

That might be us! It was us last night. I was more worried I’d get scolded by a nurse but she came in and was like “omg she’s too cute look how cozy” I was like “....woah”

I did the same thing. I slept in the recliner chair. Lol I’m a super light sleeper tho.

That’s what we ended up doing. I didn’t know what else to do. I could NOT keep my eyes open but I wasn’t gonna go to sleep if she was up whining and crying. Once she found a good spot and got comfy she finally fell asleep for a while.

@garay88, actually no it doesn’t. It can increase the risk for suffocation if not done in a safe manner. Sudden infant death doesn’t have a cause. It happens.
