I dont understand how someone can claim they are in debt, gets foodstamps, and has the smallest limit to spend on their children but also spend thousands on theirself. Shouldn't you take care of your kids and bills before? I mean, i collect foodstamps, but thats because after paying all our bills and taking care of our children's needs, we still need a little help. Anything we do for fun is saved up for, or is free. But we arnt going to spend thousands out of spite, greed or bordem.

I get so upset when people don’t prioritize and complain and moan ab not having enough money or being in debt.. ok Jan, maybe if you stopped wasting your money on frivolous crap!
Growing up we would have an empty fridge and my mom would go out to meals w her church friends. Those people should have asked my mom where her kids were. I was so upset and hurt by it growing up. I don’t ever want to do this to my children. I never would.
Noooo, spending any money on your children would simply be stupid. I mean, kids need to get a job and make money if they want cool things.. I shouldn’t have to spend my money on them! Greedy things. 🙄

I have food stamps. I have a pair of sneakers that were like $15 on amazon and Sandles from Walmart $10. Haha. My kids get clothes or shoes before I do. I do have an iPhone but it’s a refurbished 6s from amazon. $150 I got a year ago. I can’t in good conscience spent a ton of money on myself knowing my kids deserve more than I do.
Exactly. They have everything they need, and anything they want, they do chores and do firewood with their dad to earn it. Theyve learned nothing is free
@mommy-xl, yes exactly. Mine are still young but they do have age appropriate chores. They earn hearts, if they fill the jar by the end of the week then they get something special.

It’s definitely ridiculous. Sadly, it’s the kids who end up suffering. Some people need a reality check and need to learn how to prioritize better. Blows my mind how one would prioritize spending thousands on unnecessary, flashy crap instead of on food/clothes for his/her children. Food stamps/benefits are for people in need of financial assistance not for people who have the means to feed their family but choose not to 🙄 Its pathetic. People like that need a good butt kicking lol but for right now, I will just pray for them. 😬

That just seems very selfish. I get Medicaid and Wic and still struggle. Can't get foodstamps but my babies and bills always come first.

@southern_peach_cobbler it is hard. And if you want to eat healthy, its even more expensive. Even with the food stamps we get, we still spend aboit 100-200 in groceries. We look for the best sales, and use as many coupons as possible lol its saved us in soo many ways

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
