So my middle daughter is 8 she has darker hair on her legs cause she has dark brown hair and tan skin she asked me today if she can shave cause other girls say her legs are to hairy I told her I think she still to young when did you or let you daughter shave I told her she beautiful that she should worry about what they say that she really not that hairy it just cause she has darker hair

Wow she is very young and I can’t believe she is already getting teased! I have very hairy legs but I didn’t even know I was supposed to shave and my mom never told me. I was in 7th grade when kids started teasing me but I was too embarrassed so I didn’t tell my mom. Not until I was almost done with 8th grade my mom finally said something to me and said I could shave. So I don’t know what I would do in your case, but I’d want her to wait until middle school.
She has seen me shave mine so she knows about it I just feel bad when she get upset about it cause of other kids Mainly just one girl but then other add in but I keep tell her she beautiful and when she older we can talk about it I said you don’t wanna be like momma who cut her leg so bad when I was young cause I thought shaving was cool 😎
Thank you all for your input I really appreciate it she my oldest And first daughter so this is all new for me I know I went through it but my mother didn’t really talk about it with me And my other daughter she a blonde girl so her hair is very light colored
Use Nair instead of shaving ? Theres a nair that has Aloe in it and the hair takes a while to grow compare to using a razor .
I actually have some of that nair could totally try that I talk to her about it as options thank you ladies
If it makes her feel insecure I’d allow her to shave. Kids are cruel now a days and if something as simple as shaving legs prevents teasing then I wouldn’t see it as a big deal
How old is she? My mom let me shave when I started getting hair under my arms
She 8 I told her when she starts her period I started when I was 9 I tried explaining to her once u shave u have to keep it up cause the hair grow faster She my first daughter so it’s all new

Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

Why Did She Get a Helmet for Biking and Scootering?
Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
I dunno, 8 is way too young to shave. I know my daughter is gona be very hairy so I'm dreading the day I have to deal with this. Kids can be soo frikn cruel.
