Hate when my son goes to sleep at 8:30-9 he wake ups by 11:30-12 and acts like it was just a nap🤦🏽♀️

Some days my son wouldn’t even take a nap and still go to bed early and wake up around that time and try to stay up. But I think that’s what I’m going to have to do wake him up earlier around 8 instead of 9:30 because this is ridiculous
@mamabear008, wake him up earlier and take him to bed at 9:30-10 maybe. He’ll adjust little by little

And half the tome he doesn’t take a nap during the day so he truly believes that’s his nap

The struggle is real today -30 out there.
Mine used to do that when he took a nap after noon. At 2 years old he demonstrated he didn’t need the nap, so I sacrificed that hour of tranquility during the day in order to go to bed earlier. So he started waking up at 9am, and going to bed at 9pm, no naps, he didn’t wake up at night anymore and slept peacefully ever since. If by any chance he falls asleep during the day on the car seat or something, he goes to sleep later than usual.
