Rant: I used to brag about how helpful and amazing my husband was with our son. He was perfect until he went back to work in May. I get he works 70 hours a week but I don’t remember the last diaper he’s changed or bottle he’s given. I work full time too and do pick up and drop if for daycare and bedtime.

70 is a lot I wouldn’t expect much from my husband at that point lol mine is 49 a week I’m lucky if I can take a bath alone

I totally agree and I don’t feel like I expect much. I’m totally fine with doing bedtimes and everything alone but I wish he would just hold him while he eats a bottle or small things like that

@mommy_of_monsters, yeah I feel like I should be grateful for when he does help but I hate that it always falls on the mom to do everything and guys get praised when they do one little thing 🤦‍♀️

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

ekko I see both sides. However, if you both work and him taking off one day isn’t going
2sweetie I’ve never asked my husband to take a day off when I’m sick. I just deal with
boymama523 He gets the choice to call off if he’s overwhelmed or sick. You (all us mommas) don’t.

When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.

amysbabies 12 months. Focus on purees, you can steam veggies and mash them yourself. Or mash up some
makethatfour I also was told to start peanut butter at 6 months for exact what @tacos4lyfe stated.
jazzyjazz I gave my kids a little peanut butter at around 8 months...and transitioned them to cows milk
