If I let my daughter sleep on me at night while I doze in and out of sleep on a recliner she will sleep 4+ hours at a time. But if we manage to transfer her to her crib without waking her she will wake up within 2 hours. I don't know what to do 😭 my fiance is against any type of sleep training I bring up.

Totally normal for young littles. They are hardwired to keep close to adults and other little ones for safety. Also some kids are tummy sleepers and will always sleep better that way. My oldest slept with my shirt every night when he was sleeping on his own, he also slept better on his belly and once safe slept better on an incline.

So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?

Waking to feed? My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?

This week has been the hardest week of my life! Ever since my 1 year old was born she’s always had an AMAZING sleep schedule. She would wake up once a night maybe two but it was rare. As she grew up she stopped waking up at all and would sleep her 9-10 hours straight. Well this week she’s been waking up 4 hours after her bedtime, crying and screaming. I rock her back to sleep but she’s like a ticking bomb, as soon as she feels me putting her on her crib she immediately wakes up crying. It’s taken me 3 hours every night to put her back to sleep and tonight has been so hard! I put her to sleep around 9pm woke up at 10p. She went back to sleep 30 minutes after and at 12:40a she woke up SCREAMING! I tried to put her back to sleep (since I’ve heard never to wake up a sleeping child) but the crying wouldn’t stop and I don’t mean normal crying it was the time of crying as if someone was torturing her. Obviously I just broke down crying😭😭 she’s never been like this before. It’s been so exhausting not only for me but also for her.
