What would you do if your partner promised to quit smoking and said how he wanted too over and over because of money etc but then never did and didnt seem to try... would this be a deal breaker? Or would you just let him get on with smoking? Or would you try something else? Heeellllpppp... this is our main cause of argument atm and i just dont know what to do..

I wouldn’t leave someone if they had an addiction I’d try help them but sometimes they need to help themselves so if they aren’t willing to do that and it’s causing upset and arguments then it’s down to you how much you can take.
Has he tried a vape, or alternatives? Counselling for smoking? Does he actually want to stop ?xx
Me and my partner were smokers when I fell pregnant I stopped smoking and my he didn’t stop but he moved onto vape instead I’d say to quit smoking he needs to want to quit if he doesn’t want to then he never will it’s something he needs to decide on xx
I think he does want to but not enough... hes smokes for 10 years so the addiction is strong 😥😳

First partner he never smoked
Second he smoked but quit before we got together
He sometime vapes which I don’t mind as much
I hate the smell of normal cigarettes etc...
I wouldn’t have it around my child though or if I was pregnant..
So if they didn’t stop etc, then I don’t know what i would do...
But I generally go for partners that don’t smoke xx
