It truly makes me sad when a mother can't spell simple words. I'm like the education system literally failed them in their state. On another note I hate the fact that my kids school is making us pay for things the school should be providing. The school is basically providing a desk for them and that is all. I do not believe in using my kids school supplies as "Community supplies" yet they aren't allowed to use them for homework. I.e a freaking pencil or paper that I paid for.

That is absolutely not fair. Each kid should have their own supplies in their own pencil cases. They should stay in their bags if not using in class.

I bought for my dd and my dd only. I took everything out of the boxes and into her pencil box and gave her only travel size tissues and sanitizer for in her back pack. I pay taxes on schools I've been even before my dd started (she still hasn't) they have enough of mine and my SO's money to supply the school for a few years. We haven't even been given a supply list yet and she starts in 2 weeks (cant even find it online)!!! So I got what I got and I will buy no more. I bought three glue sticks but I only put one in her pencil box I bought three bottles of liquid glue and only put one in her box I bought a 20 pack of pencils and only put five in her box. If they want to wait until the last minute so all the parents have to panic and run to Walmart and make it a living nightmare they can suck it.
Same! We had to send 3 packs of crayons, 2 packs of colored pencils! Plus more! And only thing that comes home is the binder! I’m like why I buy all that stuff if when they have homework it doesn’t come home with them?!?!?!?! School list cost over 100 bucks!! And we see none of it when

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".

My son starts kindergarten in a month. I went to the schools website to try to find a list of supplies they need. One thing is headphones for iPad...I hate that schools are starting to do this!!!! A lot of kids already have an iPad or kindle or some sort of technology at home, school should be a break from it! Also why would you give a 6 year old an iPad & expect it to be in the same exact condition at the end of the year!?! Does your kids school have iPads?
