So my piercing I’ve had since I think 2014 but the back of it has like a soft spot that won’t go down at all and when ever it gets hit or pulled on by my infant it hurts
Does your jewelry fit properly? Not too long and not too short?
Do you clean it often?
Do you sleep on clean pillowcases or with your hair down?
It sounds like a hypertrophic scar. A lot of factors affect it. You just need to let it heal somehow. They sell this little disc called No Pull that might help https://www.nopullpiercing.com
Long and short answer it’s in the middle of those I cane feel the end of the piercing. And cleaning no but I do try and remember to but the piercing stuff on it. My hair is up when asleep unless I’ve just taken a shower and it’s late
okay well just look up an actual certified piercer not someone who does house calls lol I’ve never worn actual earrings in it because usually they’re 18 gauge and that’s too small for the cartilage. It can cause migration. I have labret jewelry in mine
This happened to me I smashed up 2 aspirin 81mg and sea salt mixed with a tiny bit of water to make a paste and put it on the bump did it for 2 days and it went away. I would put it on before bed.
And never touch it with dirty hands. Make sure you have washed your hands thoroughly before touching the piercing site or jewelry because you can transfer bacteria inside the fistula
Your not supposed to get cartilage pierced with a piercing Gun period .. not even ur earlobe should be Pierced with a gun it’s very unsanitary and bad ,. Go to a tattoo shop it’s probably gunna cost a lot more but it’s better than having something that’s gunna ruin u... also the H2Ocean peircing aftercare spray is the best to use after getting a new piercing but if U can’t afford that then warm sea salt water would be good to clean it bkz that’s basically wat the spray is .

@flamingomom, it’s the stuff Claire’s gives when you get piercings done
Deleted··
yeah you don’t need that. Claire’s is a horrible place to get piercings. Just clean your jewelry with unscented soap

That’s what it looks like when my piercing wasn’t in when a friend was helping me look at it a while back
