It’s 85 degrees in my house. My son and I have been sticky and sweaty and hott all day. My mom finally turns the air on cause her husband apparently doesn’t think it needs to be on. She goes back upstairs and he turns it off and opens the windows. I’m like seriously?! So my mom comes back down here and I’m like mom it’s fricking hott! She’s like wtf I turned it on for you! So she turned it back on lol. I would normally have it on but when he’s down here which is always I feel like I can’t touch it. 🙄 I seriously need my own place so bad! But I can only work part time because I have no child care for my son so I will never have my own place! I feel like I need to tell his dad that he either needs to help with day care willingly or we will have to go back to court. And I really don’t want to like step on his toes because we have been so good for so long now. But it’s not fair to me to only be able to work part time and then I’m like stuck here. I need my own life too!! Sigh :/ it’s like such a tough spot.

Since you guys are on good terms I would ask him nicely to put up at least half of the money also you can also see if the government has any programs where they can help you as well

Can you get state aid for child care? Obviously he should help, but you've gotta do what you gotta do. The state would probably go after him for payment if you went to them which is 🤷🏽♀️. Maybe try to get a job at a daycare that he could attend for a discount?

Well my mom
Said he could go to daycare where she works idk what or if it would cost anything. But I’m having a hard time potty training so he can’t go until he’s potty trained 😕 but yeah I’m sure the state would go after him first and idk if I would qualify for aid if they wanted his info

They wouldn't go after him first, it'd be after. If you aren't together then I'm pretty sure they don't take his info into account. Lots of single mom's with dad's who could help but don't get assistance and then the state goes after the dad for basically reimbursement.
It doesn't hurt to try. The worst they can tell you is no.
