If you want to be seen earlier. I’m sure you could find an OB that would see you sooner. I went in to get blood work to confirm the pregnancy and was seen at about 5-6 weeks and I was able to hear the heartbeat with a vaginal ultrasound.

I'm from Texas and you usually won't be seen until 8-10 weeks unless there's a reason for you to be labeled high risk.
I'm also in TN and I have my first appointment on Tuesday in Smyrna so hopefully, I don't have to wait

No. They had me come in the same week I called to take a pregnancy test to confirm it and then schedule an appointment a week later to see my doctor where they also did a vaginal ultrasound. This happened with both my pregnancies and I was around 6 weeks pregnant
every time that I went I was supposed to be 10 weeks and 8 weeks but ended up always being a few weeks behind so I always ended up seeing my doc at exactly 6w 1d but in order to make n appointment based off ur lmp they would only see patients from 8w+ but only for an ultrasound.. they would only see patients at 6 weeks to get a pap and blood work n to confirm ur pregnancy test again
@jenny955, yeah me too .. but the only reason why is because I was supposed to be more than 8 weeks based of my lmp but wen they did my ultrasound I ended up being 6 weeks and this was with both pregnancies and my doctor office doesn’t do ultrasound til ur 8weeks and up that’s why they did mine

@flamingfiremom oh okay I don't think they do it that early we're im from either but my periods weren't regular so I didn't know how far along I was till I got an ultrasound and I was 6 weeks.
