When did you guys go to an obgyn? How far along were you? I’m 12 weeks and I still am having issues being seen! Is it true I have to have a family doctor first to get referred? I’m going insane!

No its not true! Not in Ohio at less. Try a free pregnancy clinic!

@pottmouthed_stirredup, thank you! I don’t have any family to ask about these kind of things about and I’ve been having small issues I’m not sure is normal or not but I will try to push a little harder to be seen ASAP. I’ve known I was pregnant since I was 7 weeks

I guess it depends on your medical office/hospital. I just told them I was pregnant and they scheduled me with an obgyn. With my first I was seen around 8 weeks. With my son I didn’t get seen until 13 weeks because I didn’t realize I was pregnant.

@flamingomom, yeah it was from the emergency room back when I was having badddd sharp stomach pains

That’s probably the problem. Waiting for the Medicaid, and usually they need a health department or doctor proof of pregnancy. Here in Alabama we have to go threw a best start program, which I finally got in. Then Thursday I have my first appointment. I’ll be 10 weeks, well almost. Anyways it seems so much harder to get anything done, this time around for some reason.

Where I live you have to go to the health department till your 23 weeks then they send you to a drs office
