So my daughter has been going to day care for about 2-3 weeks now she lost a week because she was sick and the first week of her day care she was the happiest girl in the world now that she’s back and i have been taking her she cry’s every morning:( on Tuesday when I stop in front of the child care I look at her back seat and her eyes were watering and she was asking me to not leave her there 😭 she broke my hearth.
So I’m really worried about it.. it could be because she has to get used to it again? Or because there’s something wrong in the child care??
*the week when my daughter got sick I spoke with the manager about it cause the doctor told me my child sickness was because the child care provider didn’t clean the toys properly, the provider got a warning for that*
So I’m afraid she could be getting revenge on my daughter.
It's easy for a doctor to day the child got HFM from the provider because it's an easy out for them. The most common place I've been told children come in contact with it is at the grocery store. My son got it twice, the first time 2 other kids in the daycare got it, the second time no others which told me the day care wasnt the issue.
She probably needs to get back into routine of going to daycare. Both of my kids have been going to daycare since right around a year and we have issues any time they stay home sick for a few days or take a vacation.
If you have a bad feeling, stop in, you should have the schedule and go in before nap or after nap. Drop off diapers, pick her up earlier for a doctors, look around see what you see. I've done it multiple times.
The childcare worker got a “warning” because a child got sick at daycare? That’s not appropriate at all. Kids get sick at daycare/school. If you are concerned, definitely observe, but that is way off to me that a doctor would ever say it’s from the toys and the provider would get chastised for that.
And as for the sickness you can't blame the provider for that, it's not fair. Kids are most likely to get sick at places like day care, pre k, etc. It doesn't have to be the toys. She could've touched another child that had it or it was airborne. A lot of sicknesses are contagious before any symptoms occur so it's hard to keep all the sick kids away. Plus you don't know if it was actually from there. It could be from anywhere she's been.
My kids were like that when they started childcare. They say cos at 1st everything is new to them so they get really excited n love it then after a few times it hits them that their mummy is leaving them. It's totally normal. They both got over it really quick, just some kids take longer than others.
How could the doctor possibly know about their cleaning routine? It’s nearly impossible to pinpoint where an illness has been picked up.
It’s probably her age and the change in routine, but drop in unannounced and see what’s going on if it will ease your mind.
@nathalysuarez16, hand foot mouth disease is an airborne virus 😕 it could have come from anyone even outside of her day care just by someone coughing for sneezing..
@nathalysuarez16, My son got HFM in the summer when he wasn’t in daycare or around any other kids. It’s highly contagious and difficult to pinpoint where it came from.
@nathalysuarez16 my kid caught hand foot and mouth and she's never spent a single minute in day care.
Hand foot and mouth is extremely contagious and seriously can be picked up anywhere. Yes you can get it at day care, but you can also pick it up from a park swing, or a grocery cart etc.etc
As far as your daycare, I agree with the other ladies, you can always just stop in unannounced
Was she crying the first day you brought her back?
Nope, the first week she was the most happiest girl! She didn’t even want 2 say bye to me
Drop In unannounced. Say you forgot you needed to pick her up early that day for an appointment. Just to see what’s going on.
My mom did that for me she arrived when they were having nap time.🙄
This girl on my fb is 8 weeks pregnant with her first child and she said she felt the baby 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️people these days 😂😂😂
Husband or child?!?!
I was watching Oprah and this woman was asked if her car went into a lake and she could only save her husband or her child, who would she choose. She said "I would save my husband because I can always make more kids with him!"
I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
