Tomorrow, sometime in the morning, they will be removing him off of ecmo. He is breaking red cells causing damage to his liver. His urine is extremely dark because of it. They said they have to take him off. They were told to be there when they start taking him off, and for 48 hours after they start. This will be his BIGGEST fight yet. They are sure he will pass. Theyve made that clear. But if by chance of a miracle he doesn't, itll be a huge struggle to heal. He is in pain. You can see his struggles in the faces he makes. He deserves so much. And i am just beyond heart broken

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. Ok so my son just got his first job. He’s also type 1 diabetic. Well last night while working his sensor starts going off his blood sugar dropped to 52. They told him he could deal with it after he got his orders done, which in a way I understand that but at the same time if it drops low enough he can pass out and that won’t be good for anyone!! They wouldn’t even let him just grab some glucose tabs out of his bag. I’m so torn here because I don’t know what’s appropriate and what’s not.
