Ok moms let’s talk about No naps in Prek 4. So my daughter is starting school tomorrow and I was just informed that there will no longer be any mats cotts etc for sleep time but only a 20 min rest time. I have had my daughter in daycare and over there it is mandatory by state law to give prek age students a nap so she is used to them. Anyone have any opinions on this subject?
My son goes to prek at his daycare luckily. I have heard public schools are doing away with naptime. My son has to take a nap or yikes. He has gone without one and was just super cranky and acted out from being over tired.
Pre k dosent get naps unless it’s a daycare setting. And even then if the child is on a Mat and they can’t force a child to sleep they just have to lay on a mat quietly.
My son was in prek at 4 and they didn’t have naps. School was from 7-2pm. A lot of kids around that age have outgrown naps. She could always take one once she gets home if she is tired. She will adjust.
My son has been in daycare since he was 10 months and this year started vpk. This last week without naps has been brutal. The first day not so bad, he went to bed 2 hours early..great. the rest of week, complete meltdowns when I picked him up and hed fall asleep in the car on the way home. Which obviously that 15 minutes of nap makes life even harder.
I understand they're trying to get them ready for kindergarten but if they're in wrap around vpk (mine goes 8-3, then after care until 5) I feel like they should get something. Their little brains have to be exhausted.

Was so close to having my daughter this way but as i pushed my water broke 😩
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Does anyone have any cool suggestions ,where I can take my daughter near the LA area?
I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.
My son started prek last week and is doing ok. He sometimes naps and sometimes doesn’t. When he starts acting a fool when he gets home then I’ll make him take a nap otherwise he’s good until bed time.
