So I have a quick question for all the mommas on here...TMI warning...
So in late December I had a miscarriage. Then in January I started the depo shot... In febuary I had begun bleeding a lot more then usual with huge blood clots. I've been bleeding almost every single day since. Some days it's spotting some days it's heavy bleeding. One week out of the month it seems to be the heaviest which I'm assuming is just my normal period time. The bleeding according to the doctors was said that it would eventually stop on its own. Along with the bleeding has come bad pains in my uterus and ovaries. I have no idea why I'm bleeding and not only is it taking a toll on my Health but I'm also spending a lot on tampons and panty liners. I need a new box of 36 tampons every 3 days when I'm bleeding heavily. When I'm spotting the panty liners do the trick but I need to change them out very often. I've had to buy new underwear every month and throw away some of my shorts and pants. I have no idea what's going on with my body and it would be super helpful if any one else has experienced this and if they could share their story... Or if anyone has any idea what could be the problem please let me know.

Sounds like you need to not get the next shot. Give your body a little break
Did your body have one cycle after your miscarriage? Or did the bleeding atleast stop before receiving the depo?
My midwife had me wait till my levels hit 0 to start my pills.

The bleeding stopped and the doctor approved the shot. Was supposed to get the shot back in April but I decided not to.

It's the Depo shot. I had my daughter and got the shot the day after and my because of the shot Ive not stopped bleeding. I'm having spotting every day, sometimes it's heavier, and have the same pain in my uterus and ovaries. My doctor said it was the Depo, it can cause some women to continue bleeding for as long as they're taking it. Definitely get on another form of birth control. My doctor said that you can continue to bleed until it's completely out of your system. For me that's not until mid September.
