My son has a speech delay and we are doing speech therapy he is trying so hard, soo much adorable baby babble but I just cannot wait to hear real words!! It sounds like he asks what's this or what's that it's the closest we get to words other than mama. I am so ready to hear my little man speak! I cant wait to be annoyed by the constant talking! 😂😂
Greyson just started speech therapy about 2 months ago. He had just turned 2 when he started! I'm so happy their are programs that do early intervention!
my 1 year was in speech therapy too! Nothing wrong with that!🙂 early intervention suggested the same thing for my son and he’s doing great! It’s great when they are learning anyway at that age!
They are amazing I love the girl who comes over shes great with him and shes nice to chat with. We also work on other things like how he would scream at diaper time but since the help he has gotten much better and I know more tips to make things easier on me. I'd rather get the help and not need it than down the line wish that I had gotten it!
I mean I understand but I didnt come to this conclusion myself Idk if this is a program every where but early intervention suggested the therapy. I know other 1 year olds who can at least say hi. But idk I'm just going off of what I'm told he did only fail by 1 point but I chose to go through with it because if it did become a problem I didn't want to blame myself down the road for not taking the help when it was offered
I totally get that. I just hate how dr’s stress parents out about things that are ridiculous! Like putting a 1yr old in speech therapy! I watched this little girl who ate EVERYTHING and her dr freaked her mom out that she wasn’t gaining weight she bought special drinks that were expensive and they did NOTHING.
@guitarplayer4him we mostly just do easy signs so he can communicate at least a little with me for now he can receive this therapy up until he is 3 years old
Babies babble at his age. It doesn’t really become a huge issue until they’re about 3.
That was my thought?! He’s 1......most 2yr olds are still inaudible! I watch two 2.5yr olds, I can only understand about half of what they say! Why is he in speech therapy already??
He is in speech therapy already because it was suggested by early intervention that he get it
My ds was babbling till he was about 2 n just recently started to talk. He'll be fine 😊
