People were asking as soon as my daughter turned one when we were going to have another. It was fine and dandy the first few months of trying but after almost a year of hearing it I’d tell them straight to their faces that I have polycystic ovaries, suffered a miscarriage and were struggling to conceive. It shut them right up. Luckily we were blessed with another healthy girl but damn, people need to mind their own business.

I already had my son and step daughter but after my stillbirth I was trying to conceive again and I got painful comments. A woman at work said things that she didn't mean but hurt so much I'd go to the bathroom and cry.

Definitely feeling this today as my MIL questioned when she’s getting another grand baby. I have a fertility appt on Monday. 😒
Love this! You never know what someone is going through. People just need to stop asking questions that are none of their business.

It took me over 8 years to conceive my son after a miscarriage. Most people mean well but have no idea how much comments like these hurt. Unless someone opens up to you about wanting kids, struggling to conceive or anything fertility related it’s really not ok to pass opinion or judgement on a woman’s reproductive system.

My grandmother ask everytime I see her if I'm pregnant yet in one way or another it gets to me everytime like man I'm doing all I can try sucks!

I had a very easy time getting pregnant however we have two sets of friends who experienced losses and feel terrible anytime anyone makes a comment to them. It’s no ones business and is such a personal and intimate thing that people think they have a right to comment on.

Yeah, i had a very easy time both times also - but have friends who’ve experienced multiple losses and infertility. It’s horrible.

I didn't have my daughter until I was 36. I heard it a lot. Then when we started trying for a baby it took a year of negative tests and a surgery to find out what was wrong. I did eventually get pregnant but I will never have another, despite all the "but you're getting up in age, better start trying again".

TTC is already so damn hard, and what everyone has to say does not help 😣
What would you do with $25,000 If you received an extra $25,000. What would you do with it? ?

What do YOU judge Clearly, no one is a perfect parent nor do we know everything. But what’s something you judge a parent off of or just irks you?
IUIMom18·Мама дочки-младенца
Yes!! People just don’t understand that TTC is not easy for everyone.
We didn’t tell anyone we were trying and they would make comments all the time. So many times I wanted to tell them we were trying but struggling. Instead I just let them make their comments, laugh it off and go home and cry.
TTC made me feel like I was broken. That my body was working against me and I didn’t know why. Infertility sucks. I’m so thankful for amazing doctors and science that have allowed me to be a mom.
