So today my son had his 1 month check up and she asked how his colic has been and it’s still ongoing so she decided to check his stool for blood and so she put her finger “in” and got some stool tested with a chemical drop and there’s a tad bit of blood. So we are seeing a GI specialist tomorrow. Have any of your newborn seen a GI specialist for food allergies, reflux... etc. any input would appreciate it.

Thanks from the most concerned mama ever!

So my son appointment today the doctor still wasn't satisfied with his weight gain.. she said we'll give it 1 more month and if he still hasn't progressed much then she will need to draw blood to check his thyroids.

Any Mommies ever have problems with their babies thyroids? Or weight gain?

do they do Doppler ultrasound that checks babies blood flow at your regular obgyn or only at specialists? and can they tell you how much your babies weigh or that's only at a specialist to?

heilwife317 @spookylyn I'm assuming it depends on the place...as they are regular here.
