*Making A new post since my last was already so long.. sorry guys..

*Making A new post since my last was already so long.. sorry guys..

I honestly have to walk on eggshells anytime autumn is home and awake.. If I say anything to her and she doesn't like it (even when I tell her I love her most of the time) she will flip out screaming, if I move a toy, object that she can see, or even my own things from one place to another, even a few inches away, she flips out, screams, head bangs and moves it back to where it originally was.. It takes me at least 30 minutes everyday to get autumn up and out of bed/changed and ready for the day because I can't rush her with "verbal commands", I have to make certain meals everyday so she'll eat something. She gets upset with hair brushing, teeth brushing, getting diaper changes, getting dressed/undressed, going anywhere outside of the house, when I talk to hazel, when she gets frustrated with a toy, which is a lot, when she hears certain noises but its always something different/new so I'm never prepared, when hazel touches her stuff or her. She has to be pretty much in A certain routine everyday or she flips out, you can only touch/hug/kiss her when she's willing and in the mood.. She sometimes doesn't like an object or sound for some unknown reason and I just have to remove that object/sound before she melts down or so she'll stop melting down without knowing why she is upset over it.

Oh and ALL THAT and autumn is NONVERBAL, she talks a little (a few words or phrases here and there and says random words a lot but not sentences and can't tell me what she needs/wants) she actually just learned this past month how to say "cup" to tell me when she's thirsty, its so nice/helpful!! Anyways she can't tell me what's wrong which makes things harder.

Then throw hazel into that mix, a 20 month old who gets into EVERYTHING, doesn't listen, and likes to be awnry and pester her sister on purpose..

Yup sounds pretty easy to deal with everyday to me..

Don't get me wrong autumn and hazel are my reasons for living, they bring so much joy and happiness to me and my life! They are perfect in my eyes and I wouldn't change them for the world. During the hard times each day I look for the good, I wait till they are calm and happy and I use that time to play and teach. They are my Sunshines and I do not want anyone thinking that I don't want them or can't handle them. I do just fine everyday its just not easy. And Even though It may be A challenge everyday, its worth all the work I put in, they are worth it!

You don't have any county services for autumn? You should be able to get respite care, have someone go to your home and help. At least help with the little while you help autumn etc.

Also ABA and OT for autumn. It's so hard I know. Autism is life 🙃

Thank you. She just graduated out of ECI, Early Childhood intervention. We were looking to get her into an ABA therapy school that she'd go to everyday like regular school if not more hours, which I think would help her a ton! They would teach her how to live with autism and her "problems"she faces daily, potty training, social skills, academics etc. But We had to get shitty insurance till January because my hubby switched jobs recently so our insurance company isn't accepted by that school. So she's enrolled in special education/needs Pre K, starts the 19th. I think that'll help with a routine, academics, social skills and giving me a small break...unless she's throwing bad fits everyday and I'm called up there every day to get her, which I'm worried about for real.. But we need to find A therapist for her to see until/if she gets into that ABA therapy school for autistic children.

yea. I try to give him alone time with both girls or separately but its not often enough.. He just works 24-7 and doesn't see what he's gonna do to their relationship with him when they're older.. I try to tell him.. And yea he doesn't understand autumn much.. He's honestly not around her enough and when he is, he's either focused on the tv, or YouTube, or something.. Like autumn can come to me and mumble ineligible (I think that's the word) words and I know exactly what she needs about 85% of the time (the other % I'm clueless lol) but she'll come to him and point at something and he'll be like what? I'm like she wants Blah blah blah..I just wish he tried more I guess, like I get its my full time job and he has another job outside of the kids but since autumn is difficult to understand, verbally and nonverbally, he should try that much harder to understand her more. Its not that hard (well sometimes it is) but if you just take the time to read her and be around her enough to know what she means/wants, it gets easier. I just have to do everything with her autism and just let him know when drs appointments are in case he might want to go and what not. I do all her therapies with her and work on behavioral issues she has and everything else she needs to be successful everyday and in life one day.

My hubby is a good guy, he keeps food on the table and bills paid, and be loves us very much. He just doesn't understand autism and I think it scares him and upsets him to think anything is "wrong" with his baby girl and that he can't fix it so he just denies it..

aww I’m sure he is great dad and provider! ❤️ I don’t think any dad or parent want that to think something is wrong with their children. But if their is like autism involved I would honestly wouldn’t give my husband a choice if their was dr. Appointments or therapy unless he was obviously out training or what not and he just couldn’t be there. Cause us moms need a break even tho we stay at home it’s not easy to take care of kids and clean and cook and keep up with everything else. I will keep your family and your little girl in my prayers and hope u can relax a little somehow!!!!! ❤️ your doing great and you rocking this mom thing!!!!!

thank you so much! Its hard sometimes but worth it. I sometimes get upset when he doesn't go to doctor appointments or other things for the girls, like I don't think he's going to meet the teacher tomorrow night and its autumns first year ever in school.. which hurt my feelings for autumn.. But my parents are going because they are excited and involved in the girls lives a lot. But anyways I just get over it and do what I can for/with the girls and support them as much as possible and I rather go to doctors because I actually listen and try to understand what they are saying about autumn, when he wouldn't listen.. But thank you, you're very kind🖤
