Hey ladies, need some advice, my LO is now 4 months old and will NOT sleep for more than 30 minutes if he is not swaddled...how did you transition your LO's out of the swaddle?
Try the swaddle up by love to dream its amazing he can have his arms up without waking himself to do it.
@mimixtmn thank you I am looking into it to get one for him.
I used the love to dream swaddle up from he was two weeks old (it holds his arms up rather then down). They make a transition swaddle where you can slowly remove the sleeves essentially making it a sleep sack.
We moved him to a sleep sack (nested bean). His arms always flew up and he rubbed his face a lot, so since we were co-sleeping, my husband and I would take turns holding his arms down until he was asleep lol it was a rough phase
It took a long time with ours too. I started by loosening the swaddle so he could work his arms out during the night. Eventually swaddled one arm out, then eventually both. It took a while!
Do you swaddle?
How long did you swaddle? Was it hard to break the habit of them needing to be swaddled to sleep? Do you swaddle during the day or only at night? Please tell me everything about swaddling!!!

Do You Still Swaddle Baby??
When do u plan on stopping? How do u plan on weaning baby from being swaddled?
Swaddling
For those who swaddle at night, I have two questions. What does your lo wear under the blanket? And when they wake up do you unswaddle them to feed or leave them swaddled?
Swaddling
So nether of my older kids liked the swaddle at all and so we just didn’t swaddle. Now my 2.5 mo does, but is breaking out of the swaddling blanket and as a result doesn’t make long enough (she tries to suck her fingers and gags herself. It’s equal parts upsetting and kinda funny but I digress).
Every morning when I take off the swaddle his arms immediately fly up! But he is at a point right now where he his squirming his arms out of the swaddle and waking himself up in the night rubbing his face. I am currently using a nested bean swaddle. Not sure what to try...
