With my oldest I cut the tip and he threw them all away. With my youngest I've cut all but 2 because I feel so bad and just haven't yet. He collects them and carries them with him everywhere and freaks out when they go missing so I'm terrified of the nights without them
I just stopped letting my son have them. He only gets them at night time for bed. And soon I’ll be Stopping that too. I know he’s not going to like it at all but it has to be done. Just cold turkey.
I kept throwing them away until we were down to her last one and she left it at my parents house one night and instead of having them bring it over we suffered through the crying for a few minutes until she fell asleep, she asked for it the next day I told her we didn’t have anymore she cried on and off the whole day, next day rolls around and she never did ask for one again. 🙌🏽
@briannalynn547, My daughter didn’t talk much but turns out she needed tubes in her ears so once she got them it was like bam she could talk so well and understood so much. She’s never stopped talking since. 😂😂
She kept getting ear infections and she wasn’t talking like she should have been at that age, caused by not being able to hear . She got them in before her second birthday and like I said she just took off, Hell here they have to find something worth working on for them to be Able to get into preschool at age three and she got denied right off the bat because they said during the interview that she spoke too fluently and she can count to twenty and knows her Abc’s. Although I’m happy that she’s so smart I was sad this morning that she couldn’t start school with the other kids. 😩

Just rub it on the paci that way she doesn’t like the smell and will leave it lol
