Yesterday morning my brother became an angel at 23 years old from a car that hit him a while he was walking. I don’t have all of the information yet but with him being my twin it is extremely hard to deal with more than any words can say. I got the call from my parents yesterday morning and they have to make a positive ID on him at 9am this morning at the medical examiners building down in Florida. Last night while putting my kids to bed my 4 year old started to wave at the hall way in my house while we were all in my youngest sons bedroom. He told my husband that he was waving to a man about mine and my husbands age. My husband knew it was my brother. My son came out and said “mama uncle josh was standing in the hallway. I just cried hysterically. My husband asked my what my brother would want me to do if he was here. I said he would want me to calm down,relax, and he just oiled probably walk over to give me a hug. My husband pulled me onto his lap and started hugging me himself but he also thinks my brother was because most of my arms were warm except for one part in the same spot on both that was freezing. I started getting colder and colder. When we went into the bedroom to go to bed our dog started going crazy and was also super cold to the touch. It seemed like he was sniffing someone’s shoes or feet but they weren’t ours. I told my brother if he was there then to look out for my husbands family and our two babies that we lost and my family.As I am sitting here writing this I don’t feel cold. My kids are sleeping peacefully in their beds and I have better belief of him watching over me and my family. I think he went to watch over my parents as they go ID his body today. I will forever be older that my twin brother and I will forever have to celebrate my birthdays by myself every year now. I did have to explain everything to my 4 year old son a couple different times yesterday because he asked me why I was crying more than once. He’s doing better than I am with all of this but he did break down a couple times yesterday. I put him to bed with him and my husband both wiping my tears away from my eyes telling me that everything was going to be okay and that mommy isn’t alone.
