Just curious what was your kids vocabulary like at 18 months?!

There is a ton of resources out there if you are concerned. You could see if he needs to go to a speech therapist or something like that

The wonder weeks say that kids start talking at 20 months. My dr said language should explode between 18 months and 2 years. My son is very shy, I ask him to say something and he'll just nod or whisper it back lol he was like that with walking too, he only took careful steps until he felt confident.

I think the standard is 20words at 18months and 50 by 2yo. That includes made up words (I believe) as long as it's used consistently for the same thing (ex. my niece calls cats meows so it still counts as a word)

My son,is bout 18momths and he says word but says 2-3word sentences too.I'm thirst.i wanna eat. Stuff like that.
