For all breastfeeding mommies:
My milk has basically dried up due to stress and not having my son with me anymore (personal reasons)
Hopefully I will get him next month. But question is...
if I latch him on after drying up will I produce milk again or is there no more hope? 🥺
It's possible you. When you don't have him just pump to keep producing
Its not true that chances are slim. With time and dedication and if necessary meds ,you absolutely can nurse again.
Relactation is totally possible. There are medications like Reglan to help lactation. But you have to pump every few hrs when you aren't together or it wont help. If you can't have him all the time can you at least have him everynight? You gotta stimulate the breasts and remove milk and pump as much as possible.
No I cannot have him at all he’s at a foster home at the moment with no visitations but hopefully next month I get him back I just don’t wanna cry up completely cuz all he drinks is breast milk and we have been trying regular almond milk just in case
Chances are slim if you have dried up completely. But there is no shame in formula I tried so hard to bf my 2nd but due to stress my milk dried up after 2 weeks and I beat myself up over it felt like a failure but I wasn't. Fed is best just enjoy being with your Lil guy 💖💖
@dj-du and is he going to be with you full time now cause it can happen but if it's not on a regular then it will be harder
@ironbutterfly, he’s been away for 2 weeks already
@dj-du and how often will you be seeing him
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
So this is your 1 yr old? Pump every few hrs and drink water and look into lactation meds. My ob/gyn prescribed me a med called Reglan. Its not expensive and it works you just have to take it consistently and pump. Even if you aren't getting anything at first the pumping will tell your breasts to produce.
