It does but only because the relationship already has issues to begin with. I highly doubt a couple would’ve stayed together had they gotten rid of their social media networks. Sounds like a lot of trust issues. It used to be a big problem in my relationship a few years ago. For the same reason, my husband and I didn’t trust each other. Even before we had Facebook and Instagram we had trust issues. So it plays a role however the relationship wouldn’t have lasted anyways.

Ehh not really. Trust issues, lack of communication etc.. is what ends relationships.

@naturalchicca30, everyone has their own opinion on this topic. My kids father was an asshole and wanted me to delete my social media, at that time I only had Facebook. He thought that me deleting my page was going to fix our problems but he never deactivated his. So I opened my page back up. He was a cheater and liar & thought I was doing whatever he was doing to me.
My fiancé & I both have social media and it doesn’t cause any drama between us.
I’m not deleting my social media for no one and I wouldn’t want someone to delete theirs for me either.

If social media breaks up a relationship then the relationship wasn’t strong to begin with.

I wouldn't blame social media per se. It all comes down to a person's inability to behave and stay faithful. Sure social media makes it "easy" but it still lies within the individual.

Some people just can not handle grasping the idea of contacting/ communicating with others while staying and being truly faithful to their own partner.
It truly is sad.

This is exactly why we don’t have Facebook or instagram in my house! Causes too much drama we have been a social media free home for over 2 years now other than Snapchat and for me this mom.life app to keep in touch with our family& friends. It’s awesome we spend less time looking at our phones and more time doing things as a family❤️
