So Kayden has a cold which of course sucks. Nobody wants their baby sick... however, am I a horrible mommy for enjoying the duration of her cold? She just sits there watching tv quietly. She’s not screaming, getting into stuff, tearing stuff up, nothing. Just calm and cool as a cucumber. I like the peace 😩

I understand. My son is always on the go & when he gets sick he wants to do nothing but curl up on the couch and watch movies. It’s a nice break nice to snuggle and take care of him.
I'm not judging girl, get your break!! But I'm super emotional 😂 I cry and wish I was sick instead of her, I hate seeing her curled up on the couch instead of her usual cheerful self getting into shenanigans. 😩
I swear I wonder if it makes me a bad mom cause the peace when their sick :(
I hate it when my kids get sick, but the quiet is nice.
