I'm currently 34 weeks and my milk is in. To the point where I'm suffering with my milk ducts being clogged.
😩. It's starting to be unbearable. I've tried warm compress and being in the shower but it won't leak out. I'm so tempted to express...but my doctor said he doesn't really want me to pump because it could cause me to go into labor... What else can I do? 😩😣😒

What did your doctor say? I'm curious! Wear a loose bra or clothes, massager can help break clogs up but I'd definitely ask before doing any of these because it can cause contractions if you start doing anything like pumping.

@rese Not sure if you have an Instagram but I follow a lady and she is awesome.... She might be able to point you in the right direction. Some LC can cost.

ANY nipple stimulation can cause contractions... So do a little research first, especially if you have any preterm risks.

Go see a LAC SPECIALIST!! They might be able to help you hand express some pressure out and give you safe ideas.

they can help you, they're more trained than your doctor on the matter. Hand expressing shouldn't cause any problems.

Are you sure it’s milk and not just your breasts preparing. Your body doesn’t start to produce milk until baby stimulates them by suckling and drinking your colostrum. Milk takes 3-7 days of stimulation to start coming in. I’d leave them alone.

Yes I'm 100% sure. My breast are almost to the point of mastitis. My ob felt my breast and everything today.

Get half a cabbage head it’ll help. I was a cook at a local hospital and the nurses there called down to the kitchen for half a head of cabbage for a new mom
