i always have a bag packed with the essentials I keep by the front door incase we need to leave in a hurry. I just looked at the weather though. It's going off for severe thunderstorms not a tornado😅 it goes off for any weather alert in our area. It's like a block away from our house so it's scary loud when it goes off and my first thought is always a tornado.

Our tornado sirens go off when there's severe weather coming, like a severe thunderstorm. It doesn't have to be a tornado. That's why I have several weather apps on my phone to keep me updated.

That's what ours does too. I need a better weather app cuz mine never tells me what's going on. It went off for sever thunderstorm.

look for your local news and weather station for an app they provide. Ours has one. That way it stays local and up to date.
