TMI post!:
At what point do you think an OBGYN will take my concerns seriously? I'm nearly 8 weeks post partum and I'm still having red spotting every day. There are no clots, but tiny pieces of tissue/flesh that ive seen on the toilet paper while wiping and on the pads I wear. They're no bigger than a letter on my phone's keyboard and they're either pink or sometimes paler, nearly white in color and I only see them when I have horrible cramps here and there. I never "stopped" bleeding, ill go MAYBE 15 hours max of no bleeding but it always comes back. Normally I find myself spotting on and off all day and night. The horrible cramps happen on and off, the longest time ive gone without having them has been two days and then they were back to pretty much daily. I'm on the Depo and they said it could make me spot. But at my 6 week post partum appointment she said the bleeding should be ending within a week. It's not even slowed down a little bit. She didn't seem to think anything of the horrible random cramps either despite me telling her that they're at least three times worse than my regular period pains, and not like the contraction I had for the first week while breastfeeding. These are shape, stabbing pains that last between 20 minutes up to an hour before they fade away again. I don't know what to do, I feel like I'm going to get blown off if I ask to set up another appointment. Should I wait a few more weeks to see if it continues? It's shown no signs of slowing down whatsoever, it's always red and liquidy, no clots at all. It's nothing like any spotting Ive ever had, my normal spotting at the start of a period has always been dark red, this is like classic lipstick red.

I got my period at exact eight weeks PP.
You’ll bleed off and on for anywhere up to 12 weeks. It sounds very normal to me

I don't have clots, they're little bits of fleshy stuff. If it was just clots i wouldnt be worried. But these are like little "nuggets" of actual flesh for lack of a better term.

I’d call

As long as the clots aren't any bigger than a quarter and it's just spotting, it's completely normal. I bled on and off for 12 weeks after my 2nd baby with a period somewhere in there... it really is normal

Sounds normal to me I wouldn’t worry. Cause for concern would be fever, chills, clots, passing large pieces. The pains your describing are normal pp
