Anyone notice a difference between similac pro total comfort and Enfamil gentlease? My little one was on the similac one but I'm trying the Enfamil to see if it will help with his gas because he has a ton of gas on the Similac. His Dr said they're similar but maybe the Enfamil will be better for him. I already started 2 bottles on it and I feel like it's making a difference.
@alle2011 i used the target brand soy or the gerber if i could find it on sale.
My baby girl is on Similac Sensitive for fussiness and gas and this has worked wonders. I’ve found out the pros make her tummy worse
With my first baby I used that and loved it for him. He did really well with it. However, my second baby can't handle it at all.. major spit up and it doesn't break down at all in his stomach. That's why his Dr recommended the Similac total comfort because the proteins are more broken down and it helps. He just has so much gas...
They're very similar. I switched back and forth when I was supplementing my daughter. It's worth a shot.
@alle2011 my daughter ended up having a dairy allergy so I can't really say for sure. She had no relief until she went on soy formula.
Sometimes if a baby has a lot of gas its due to a lactose issue. It sounds stupid but most people dont have the right genes to process lactose. My daughter would get so angry from trapped gas but when I switched her to soy it instantly helped. She can eat things like cheese but can stand milk still.
