So do you think it would be bad if I went ahead and got my daughters car seat yeah I’m only 30 weeks but right now we have the money and I’d like to go ahead and install it bc you never know what can happen idk I like to be prepared.

U can buy it but don’t install it because if u get in an accident u can’t use it anymore n have to buy a new one

@mommarogers, I agree it’s great to have it but I wouldn’t install it or have it in the car until it’s baby time. Last year I was rear ended twice. Thankfully the first time when my car was totaled my kids and their car seats weren’t in my car. The second time the car seats were in my car. Thankfully the persons insurance replaced them extremely fast but you don’t want that extra stress if you can avoid it.

@mommarogers, I didn’t have to ever install mine .. once I was I gave birth my mom installed the stuff for me Nd brought the car seat to the hospital the day I was going home.. so maybe wen U go in labor jst grab the car seat and put it in the trunk or something and ur husband can install it at the hospital after u have the baby and U guys are finally relaxing ..

I’m buying everything over these next few weeks just so I don’t have to be doing it at the end. Luckily this is our second girl and are able to reuse almost everything but it’s definitely reasonable to start getting big things now!

For my 2nd daughter I bought it around the same time. 30-35 weeks. I took out the car seat once it was time for me to give me. I didn’t really use the stroller until her first appointment

I bought mine early too. It was on sale so we bought two. Didn’t install until 36 weeks.

I bought my sons at 15 weeks along because it’s the one I really wanted and it was on sale. I’m not going to install it until around 35 weeks though since we live right across the street from the hospital.
