I took my son in Friday night and they told me he has an upper respiratory infection. He has a fever, and diarrhea! Yesterday i took him back in cause he had this rash which is still there! And they told me he is fine. Im worried cause idk what this is! Should i take him to a different hospital!?

I just took my son to the doctor about this and they said the same, it’s a rash that occurs after a fever.. it’s something they have to get over.

It’s normal for a rash to occur when they are sick, they call them viral rashes. If they have already seen the rash and they said it’s fine, I wouldn’t take him back in and expose him to even more germs and possibly worse germs.

He still has a mild fever not as high as before. And the diarrhea he still has. He is super fussy and very emotional.

Does he still have the fever and diarrhea? Could be a virus that has a rash come out after. Probably depends how fussy/miserable he is? If he’s not acting too upset, I would probably wait to go back in.
