@cmamommaof2, yeah I wouldn’t charge her like I would someone else but 14? You want to bring him 6 hours earlier then you should

To just have some time alone? Sure. Ive tried taking baby to my moms even if I'm off but it made me feel guilty so I don't do it anymore.

I would text her and say something like “hey girl, I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy “kids name” being here and my kids have fun also when “kids name” is here. I just want you to know as a mom I know sometimes things can be overwhelming and if you ever need any extra time to yourself I’m always here and don’t mind watching “ the kids name”. Or I would have said something like dang girl, did someone call out, that got you working a long shift today. I know you’re going to be exhausted. It opens up dialogue for her to explain why she dropped the child off earlier. Without feeling attacked.

@sistersmainpiece, I showed my husband the texts before I sent them and I made sure they wouldn’t be considered attack but she shut me down completely and wouldn’t answer I triple texted her and she kept leaving me on read

I told her if you need free time that’s fine bring him 2 at the most 3 if need be but I also have my kids so 6 hours is excessive

I mean me and my husband went out yesterday and we were gone 4 hours

@rosemom, since she decided not to bring her child it’s nothing to worry about at this point. I’d let it go and not worry about what she has going on. She’ll prob eventually tell you what was going on when she wants to talk.

Ok good so I’m not wrong

I felt like a bitch this morning because a friend tried bringing her child from 9 am- 11 pm but she works at 3

I was like hold on 🤔 she works 14 hours ?
