I would imagine it would come down to my children for me.
I don’t want my son ever thinking he can treat a woman less than, and I sure as hell don’t ever want my daughter to think she can be treated badly and it’s alright.
Kids learn from example.

I know... He put into my head that without him I wouldn't have anything... I know its not true.. I'm having a hard time dealing with this decision.. Like im not interested in him.. Sexually either..

@caysensmommy, it will be hard. Big changes are never easy. But, I can guarantee if you’re having doubts, and if it truly is toxic, then you’re better off without. Even if it’s hard.

Ask yourself if this is what you can live with for the rest of your life..do you really want this..can you do this forever..when your mind and heart keeps telling you NO ..then that’s when you know it’s time to make moves.

Honestly, I only got the courage once I didn't actually care anymore my only thought was survival for my kids. I tried leaving many times and couldn't ever get away until he went to jail for the millionth time but instead of a slap on the wrist he finally got real time so I was able to walk away and be free. Sorry if that's not really what you were asking. I hope your friend finds the courage.

Just left my husband on thursday and I am heartbroken but honestly when someone reach their breaking point they will eventually leave

Jw I thought u were asking for a friend, and if it ever came down to anything it will be the kids safety I would leave no matter what the excuse is
