Any natural remedies to cure a cough in a toddler? At jumping the gun to give my kids medicine.

Honey if older then 1!

I give my kids hunny with lime and that works for them

Pineapple juice helps with inflammation and then a spoonful of honey and increase vitamin c. Or you can use elderberry syrup (find local so you don’t buy store bought with all the added sugar) instead of the vit c and honey. It contains both. ☺️

We do chamomile tea with honey, a humidifier, and we diffuse breathe from DoTerra.

Honestly coughs take the longest to get rid of. I would just let it take its course but keep an eye out for fever and wheezing. Doctor told us to mix a little honey in warm apple juice or a little honey by itself to soothe the throat.

I always do Vick’s & humidifier.

Try to avoid milk it creates more felm. I had this issue with my 16 month old recently and he's to little for cough syrup
