Both my babies measured 2 weeks ahead. They go by lmp or early ultrasound. They never changed my date and my babies came at 39.3 and 39.6

I measured 2 weeks ahead throughout my entire last pregnancy. They never changed my due date. Then surprise surprise I went into labor and had my baby 2 weeks before my due date.

They won’t change it your earliest ultrasound is the most accurate, growth after that can speed up and slow down from week to week.

So far, they haven’t changed my due date. It’s been the same since day one

Your due date should be based either on the first day of your last period or if you had a first trimester ultrasound. Babies grow at different rates in the second and third trimester due to genetics. Your due date should not change unless there is a drastic difference in growth and original due date. Being a week ahead is common. It just means you baby is in the higher percentile.

My due date is based off conception date which is most accurate. But we will see!

most accurate is when you have a dating scan in the first trimester. Unless you had an ivf transfer. Conception can be off because sperm takes time to travel to your egg. So that can always be off. Once they set your due date either off of the first day of the last period or the first trimester ultrasound they don’t change your due date unless as I stated it’s a drastic change in measurements. Measuring a week or more ahead is common and is not a reason to change due dates.
