When I moved from NYC to a small town a few years ago and people said good morning to me when walking past I swear I had the what the fuck you want from me look. Like legit didn't realize people said good morning/afternoon/evening to strangers just to be nice.

@earthymama, I just feel like people will take your kindness and run. I was also raised not to trust strangers that easily. You know how it is, some of the stories you hear on the news makes you think like “oh wow, I have less trust now”.
