My 3yo sleeps in his own room but comes into my room in the morning around 8.
My 3yo sleeps in his own room but comes into my room in the morning around 8.
Recently I’ve noticed that he’d start screaming/crying while he was sleeping. His eyes are closed while doing this. It’s just randomly he will stop after a couple minutes then like 20 minutes later start up again. Has this happened to anyone else?

It sounds like he is just having a nightmare. How long has it been happening?

@mandehhhx3 hmmm. I think he may just be having bad dreams but I'm stumped. Also, how do you get him to sleep in his own room? I still can't get mine out of my bed and he's three. We even bought him a toddler bed and put it in a corner of our room so that he can still see us, and every night, it never fails, he wakes up crying knowing that he's not in our bed and climbs in with us.

@cizzle27, honestly we did the same we had a bed in our room at about 18-20 months, and he was just so excited to have his own bed. ( mostly bc it’s paw patrol lol) Of course it was hard because he could just get out of bed anytime he wanted. We finally moved his bed in his room about 8 months ago, he still cries some nights but he loves having his own room. Sometimes we have to let him fall asleep in our bed and take him to his room.

his bed is paw patrol too! He was excited that it was paw patrol, but still to this day, he is not excited to fall asleep in it. He will lay in it to watch his tablet, but falling asleep in it is like not his thing. He will cry and cry. Eventually he stops and falls asleep, but I thought that he would only cry for about a week, but it has been months!
