So I’ve got a problem. The other day my husband and I got new phones. He was Verizon and I was att but then I switch to be on his Verizon plan. So in order to do so Verizon assigned me a temporary number until my current number could transport over. So Monday I text my husband from the temporary number that he did not save in his phone. I text “ what are doing “ and he replied” out to eat who is this”? Mind you I’m out to work and I knew he was meeting a former student for lunch. I jokingly replied “ your boo”. His reply was “ Which one I got a new phone”? I then replied “ you are playing right?” And he said “no”. I’ve been sick to my stomach for two days thinking about this and I have yet to confront him about it. He’s been acting strange as well like when he gets home he avoids me by staying in another room or napping . He even text me yesterday and asked me how to look up a phone number but wouldn’t tell me why he needed to look up the phone number. I’m hurt but I’m more angry than anything because what I have to put up with with him . How would you bring this up?

Oh hell no... do you still have that text conversation on your phone? I would screenshot and send it to him, inform him he no longer needs to look up the number, because it was in fact, his wife. And take it from there... I’m so sorry this is happening to you.

Just make absolute sure it was actually going to his phone.
For two months straight randomly when I’d text my mom it would go to another woman’s phone.. I was so confused, and the other woman was getting annoyed. When I’d call, my mom always answered.
Finally, it just stopped happening.
It was AT&T, and they swore it wasn’t their fault, but that it did happen.

If he's acting weird like that around you, he has a hunch that it was you and is trying to avoid a confrontation about it.
Ask him how lunch was the other day. Anything strange happen? Give him a chance to own up. If he doesn't, call him out. "So it's not unusual to get a text from an unknown number claiming to be your boo?" And game on.

Give yourself a minute to relax and calm down. It's hard to do but with a clear mind you won't over react too much. Approach him and ask how lunch went, how his day was ect. Give him a chance or two to bring it up. Then ask him about it.
Hell I'm petty I'd use Verizon's nice little feature that allows you to schedule a message to be sent. I'd set up a text for right when I'm asking so I don't have my phone present and he won't realize it's me. Then I'd take that opportunity to ask him "oh who is it? Not one of your other boos is it" light chuckle like I'm joking. Then hit em with the faaaacts if he doesn't spill.

Yes I still have the number. I checked his texts this morning while I he was sleep and he has erased it from his messages. So yea he’s trying to hide it
