Any nurses on here I need advice ASAP.
So I got a call from my sister saying she thinks my mom hemmreging. Or miscarrying. (My mom is 50 and hasn't had menopause yet) my sister said she missed a period in may and ever since June 20th she has been bleeding non stop and heavy with clots. My mom said it's just menopause (from what Google says) she hasn't seen at the er or been to a dr because she doesnt have insurance. My sister said she looks pale and cant talk right anymore. I live in AZ and shes in California. So not much I cant do at the moment. I'm planning to go out there around the 5th when we get paid and forcing her to go to the er and then I'm gonna have her come back with me depending on how her health is and if she can make that drive with her health. If not I'm gonna stay out there until her health is better. My siblings and my dad dont give a crap obviously because they aren't doing anything to help her out or get her seen by a dr any dr. Idk what to do or have a idea what could be going on. Any idea on what could be making her bleed like this ? I just want some type of idea so when I get her in somewhere I have something for drs to start looking for or testing for.

Update: my mom has been at er and so far they have done blood work, a urine sample and currently waiting for a ultrasound. Her blood pressure was high. That's all I know of right now.
:as far as me calling a ambulance for her,the hospital told me they can send one but if she doesnt answer the door or refuses to take the ride it wouldn't help but give me a bill.
:I finally talked her into go though and shes there now. Has been there since 6pm.
:praying it's nothing serious. They told her it's most likely menopause but they are gonna test for anything and everything anyways.

.....if your sister won’t call 911 then you call for help. Call the non emergency line out there and they will dispatch an ambulance for you. Pale...can’t talk... non stop bleeding I mean wtf is your sister waiting for 🤦🏾♀️
Okay I'll do that. I didnt know if me being in a diff state would matter ? I had no idea about any of this until a hour ago and it's been going in for a while!

I would call an ambulance for her. Especially if she’s been bleeding since the 6/20! It could be a whole range of things..
@witchymama, you can call 311 and have them do a wellness check on her also. I’m sure they’re worried about it being nothing major and having a bill on top of that.. You should assure them that her life is far more important to ignore.
Good luck. I know you feel helpless but your her only advocate at this point.
If she looks pale and is unable to speak then your sister needs to call her an ambulance.
I told her to. She said she was gonna take try and make her go to the er in the morning. I wish I was out there right now. I would have had her in the er asap.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

Update!! Its just premanalpause !! They gave her iron pills and put her on a birth control to help with the bleeding. Since she hasn't been to a dr in years they did a full check up too and shes healthy as can be!! ❤❤❤
