So I kept having these intense Braxton Hicks so I thought and went in today and they’re close together but he’s worried about uterine irritability and my job being to much and my last two being a little preterm so now I’m on restrictions 😞 I work full time as a cna and I don’t see them accommodating these restrictions since it basically puts me not being able to do my job plus a full time mom to 3 idk how this is gonna work so now I’m stressing even more .

Are there other cna’s that work in your unit on your shift that can do the lifting and moving n stuff or do you work by yourself in one unit?

And you can do the other stuff I’m sure it’s just the lifting and moving because some people are heavy I always just have other coworkers do the lifting and moving because you don’t wanna strain yourself

@mskye4, yeah there has to be something. I feel you girl I couldn’t either lol I really love my job and of course getting a paycheck. My husband actually wanted me to stop working with this pregnancy I’m like heck no lol I just take it super easy I’m just blessed to have some co workers that help me out a lot when I need it and take breaks as much as I need of just sit down for a few mins. I’m not the only pregnant nurse at my job I work at a hospital and there are like 5 other nurses and cna’s in my department that are pregnant lol so we work as a team girl lol

yeah that’s how it was when I worked in my facility my last pregnancy they helped alot and I did the stuff that was easier so they wouldn’t get behind having to help with lifting for me .

yeah most co people don’t mind helping because when they are the one that is pregnant they are gonna be he one hat needs the help lol there is one particular nurse that used to complain about helping co workers who where pregnant a few years ago and guess what? Her ass is pregnant right now as we speak needing help lol smh like don’t complain cuz it could easily be you in the other position lol

I would try transferring to dietary or laundry services. Either of those would work too or even scheduling.
