You can name your kid whatever you like. First and last name. It's your choice. I don't understand why she's all in your business. When my cousin got married last year she decided with her husband to change their last name. So it's not what he had or she had. It's a totally new last name that they picked together.

Yess. Thats also why i dont want to take it away from him. But dont want to take it away from me also. Plus my oldest son has my last name and when he found out that it wasnt the same as the babys. He felt a little hurt. He desperately wants her to look like him and he wants the same name. (She doesnt looknlike him to much because of the hair and eyes and everything. He constantly says i think i see brown in her eyes. And my hair is getting blonde lol)
You dont owe anyone an explanation, that is between you and the father, I'd personally tell everyone else too fuck off and mind their own business on the subject.
My husband and I weren’t married when my daughter was born, my grandfather was my very best friend and I grew up with his last name as my last name, so my daughters last name is my maiden name and my married name. I don’t see why people get so fucking bent out of shape about hyphenated last names.
