Why are some parents in such a rush for their babies to grow up?
The very same parents who complain that it goes too fast and that they miss the baby stage!
My BABY is 3 years old now, he no longer wants cuddles, I have to fight for a kiss, he independently wants to dress, feed & toilet himself. He no longer relies on me the way he used to.
Enjoy the bottle/breast feeding, hold them a little longer before putting them down for a nap, don't push them to grow up, the 'baby' stage only lasts such a short space of time, you'll look back and won't be able to remember the last time you fed them yourself, the last nappy you changed, the last time they fell asleep in your arms.
They will always be our babies no matter how old they get but savour the little things, before long they will be forgotten and you will wish to go back in time ❤

So true! People are in such a rush to make them grow up, so they can get their photos and bragging moments. What’s even worse is that half of it isn’t even believable 🤷🏻♀️

Woah what am I doing wrong? There’s under 1s having bigger portions than me & newborn acrobats 🤣🤣 moms life is a magical place

Maria was the roast home make? Better not have chopped those carrots up remember the need to be whole carrots and 6 ft long. X

always home make @cheryl123, home make, home grown, home prepped. He probably slaughtered his own chicken tbf, but I don’t want to brag. 🙈

I totally agree with everything you say!
My lil mans the exact same, its a battle to get a kiss and cuddle at times not unless he wants something 😂
Its sad no longer seeing that cute lil baby that needed me for everything but at the same time I think wow with so much pride I could burst when seeing just how much he’s growing up each day and the cheeky, lovely lil boy he’s becoming more and more ❤️ who also has a lot of attitude 😂 xx

Haha I know the feeling! It's bittersweet isn't it. I miss it so much that he no longer needs me but at the same time we have some really deep conversations together now he's bigger that just complete me and when he comes up randomly and just says 'I love you mummy' without prompt I treasure every second xx

As someone with 1 child who won’t hug and kiss me, who is 100% independent and then another child who is struggling to develop, it upsets me when I see people rushing their little ones along.
Keep them babies for as long as you can 😭

It's horrible to see sometimes isn't it. I cringe so bad at times, can't stand pushy parents

I used to be that parent and couldn't wait for my child to hit the next milestone. I think it was just the excitement of "what will he/she learn next"
But with my one year old i just wanted to enjoy every bit of him being a baby 😭

I'd do anything to have Sophia as a baby for a day. She's been independent since day 1. However I am very lucky that she is such a cuddly child and loves kisses and cuddles 24/7. She still holds my hands everywhere too. She's a total sook. X I've cried at every milestone, Christmas concert everything. I am that mum. X

Mate I’m livid Isabelle has lost her newborn face 😩 tears me up every time I hate it! She’s only 2 months old 🙈 I cuddle and cradle her all day every day keeping her a newborn 😆 I’ve got a 3 year old is so grown up and independent! I can’t let that happen with Isabelle just yet aha

I loved my boy at every stage and it’s scary how much he has grown, he still loves cuddles so I’m maki g the most of it!
My girl still feels very baby like which is amazing! I wouldn’t wish an early start on anyone with the stress but having her tiny longer is a silver lining!
I keep getting told to get my boy a tablet, he has no interest in phones or tablets why rush it?
@vixster, I don’t think you’re OAP compared to me 😂

Мама двоих (младенец)
With my first he did things pretty quick so I was upset he grew up so quick but with this baby I'm loving the baby stage, im like don't you try sit up, come here me get them cuddles. I mean it's a struggle with a demanding toddler but it works 😊 x

This! 💙
Theo has recently become so much more independent, probably no where near as independent as your little boy yet, so I can't even begin to imagine how you feel!
He's wanting to do everything for himself, even put his own shoes on. He's also started talking more and I would honestly give absolutely anything to go back to when he wanted to cuddle me and he actually wanted me to play with him!
The first 3-6 months are a blur because you're so tired. But you blink and it's gone. It's horrible to see people rushing them to grow up and become more independent before they are ready. Xx
