How long does it take for a c section scar to heal? Is it after they take the staples out or longer? I got to call my doctors tomorrow to make a appt to take my staples out and and ugh the pain even with pain meds it’s still hurts to do anything I hope it heals soo soon I want to be able to do my activities like I did before. Definitely my last baby for sure I can’t have no more and definitely don’t want no more . I’m happy with the three that I have

Longer. At least four weeks. It may appear healed but it’s one of the reasons they want you to take it easy for a bit because it can reopen very easily if you over do it

@mommycusses, yeah with both of mine they said it was fine, but I didn’t have staples, so maybe that’s the difference

@littleonemorning, yes my first c section and the staples are so bad pinches every time especially if you move a certain way 😩😣😣

@mommycusses, ah yeah. For me they stitched (the dissolvables) and then stickies that I had to brave and take off. That wasn’t fun at all, but I would imagine not as bad as staples. I hope you recover quickly!

I had stitches with my first, staples with my 2nd and glue with my 3rd. The staples were the worst by far, they pinched every time I moved. I felt so much better once they were out.

Yes the staples are the one I have and it hurts so bad like you said especially when you move a certain way! I can’t wait to get them out this week sometime

It will feel so much better after the staples are removed, it will need more time to heal but I was so uncomfortable with the staples I felt like they were stabbing into my skin it was a relief to have them out.

@mommycusses, I was scared too it was my first time having a csection also and having staples but it was terrible at all and I felt better afterwards hopefully it’s the same for you!
