This is my first child so I’m not quite sure what contractions feel like.. My OB said it feels like extremely bad menstrual cramps, but I’ve been cramping since she did the membrane sweep yesterday. Some advice please?

@sistersmainpiece, @albertrettazariah1386, thanks guys 😂
@albertrettazariah1386, I think he’s just moving and hitting a nerve. For the past few days I haven’t been able to lay on my right side because he’ll move and I’ll get a sharp pain in my side/back. I wasn’t sure if it was a nerve he was on or possibly back labor
@jessie.drury1230 yeah sounds like a nerve Pat him away from that spot. That's what I do.
@albertrettazariah1386, I’ll try that next time 😊
I had contractions in my belly and also back labor. For me contractions came as a sharp tightening pain. The would peak and slowly ease up and they would come in a pattern.
What does back labor feel like?
@jessie.drury1230 you ass will hurt with every contraction it will literally fill like it's in your butt 😂😅

start timing them, i was like that and i was in early labor than when the contractions got stronger i knew right away it was time to head out . They feel really intense sometimes you can’t catch your breath. Hope everything goes smooth for you, if you are really worried it will not hurt to go get checked at l&d
Thank you!
Have you been timing? General rule is 5-1-1. 5 minutes apart, 1 minute long, for 1 hour. Once they’re the real deal you feel like you can’t breathe or talk through them.
I have a general cramping constantly, they only get intense sporadically. They aren’t so intense I can’t stand the pain though
