Does anyone’s 7 month old prefer solids and table food only? I try so hard with formula and his doctor tells me to keep pushing it because he needs it. He hates every formula I try, he’ll smack the bottle or just reject it and scream. He’s not gaining weight great but his height is in the 100 percentile, any suggestions on trying to get him to take formula?

Try putting some banana baby food in it maybe? To give it some flavor.

My son did. I started feeding solids at 3mths & would give him formula afterward w some cereal or a fruit baby food. Have you tried to mix it w baby food?

I don’t put formula in my babies food .. I’ve tried it myself and it was disgusting and tasted rotten I was like no wonder babies prefer straight food and not with formula . So I only gave my baby straight food I never put formula in it otherwise she wouldn’t eat it at all.. she will only drink formula after she eats ..

Try a sippy cup with formula before any solids.
I definitely wouldn't put anything in your baby's bottle though, it's a choking hazzard.

It’s the same with my daughter !!! Since she’s started not wanting milk at all. She used to have a whole bottle at bed time but even that she’s having less and less of now. She only has milk really at night now. I asked the nursery workers and they said not to worry too much as long as she’s getting a good variety of food and enough water then to carry on.
My son wasn’t interested at all until about 10 months and even then still loved his milk !
