After tons of research this pregnancy. Why i was so sick after i gave birth to my daughter. Was because of a spinal headache. Meaning they messed up on my epidural. They punctured the spinal fluid sack and it gave me the worse migraine (mini stoke like migraine). Im still thinking about getting an epidural. But i really hope it goes ok this time. I couldnt walk after (partly because of being numb anways) couldnt talk. Inwas dizzy ane nauseas. Im going to chance it. I am just going to ve praying and hoping nothing goes wrong. Weird how the nurses didnt know what was wrong with me though. Basically had to sleep it off and then i was completely fine.

Good luck this time mama, it definitely shouldn’t of had to be like that so hopefully it goes well for you this time. I know someone who had to go back to the hospital to have it fixed because she had the same thing except it drug out for WEEKS.

Definitely talk to the person who will be doing it beforehand. I'm sure they can answer any questions you have about it.

I didn’t have a good first time with the epidural. I still have pain that makes me feel paralyzed that radiates through my whole back up to my neck sometimes. I planned to try to go without my second time around. I swear the contractions were more intense with my second than my first. I caved and got it. BUT my experience my second time was completely different. They numbed the area before sticking the epidural needle in my back, he talked to me THE WHOLE procedure, he was extremely cocky but i let it slide because he did so amazingly on the epi.

This happened to me. I never had an epidural again.

How was the pain and how was everything through out without an epidural?

it’s labor. It hurts. But I needed two blood patches to fix what happened to me and they said I could have very easily been paralyzed. I did not know such things could happen. I was young and did no research. Had my next 5 kids without an epidural. 2 with IV narcotics. And 3 at home.
