I can do normal (off the head) braids and still working on to the head. I can only do big pigtail ones on my daughter, can never seem to do little ones. Pretty sure one of my dads girlfriends taught me lol.

Just keep practicing it takes a while but you'll get it when I first started trying to cornrow they were coming out as French braids after a while I finally got it.

Me too! 🥺 My daughter has thick thick curly hair and TONS of it, I wish I could braid like scalp braids and cute styles... I put them in braids and stuff but no like cute cute styles. This is the best I have done hahaha she is my little mix beauty... luckily this be my 2nd son and my other baby that is one got my hair type hers will be easy 🤣
