With my son I was unsure whether on not we would use a pacifier so we only had a couple. He used the avent soothies in the NICU and then when we tried to switch over to the bigger size when he was a few months old he didn’t want them anymore 🤷🏻♀️
3 of my kids used them. 1 didn't. It's all up to you.
I got into a argument with my parents bc I said I was going to try to stay away from pacifiers with my oldest. My dad said that he doesn’t care what I say and that he will buy pacifiers for when she came over. She only used them in the NICU though and I’m so glad. I’m gonna try it again with my youngest.
Same ava only had it in the NICU as well. St least my family is abiding by my rule....I just have to put up with complaints
My baby also doesn’t, I chose not to and haven’t regretted at all
🙄 pacifiers are not necessary . They mess up teeth or they never want to give up the pacifier and you’ll be struggling with a toddler still using a pacifier. Smart of you to not fall for that .

@theirmommie, exactly why a baby doesn’t need it . They may over use it or not . It’s your choice to prevent that by happening.

Grandparents 🙄.... apparently I'm being cruel to not give her one. Because she "needs to be able to soothe herself ".
Why ?? Lmbo I didn’t use a pacifier either. Until now, teething, I freeze them and he just chews on them. 🤷🏻♀️People get mad for no reason anymore. Lol
